I certainly strive to hold onto a fund for 90 calendar days to avoid the 2% penalty that a mutual fund company may impose for selling in less than the 90 days. My contention though is if the value of any given fund in my portfolio has gone up substantially in value, I really don’t care about the slight penalty imposed. International markets continue to gain strength from prior months figures.
Precious metal prices fell slightly this past week but demand continues to be strong and remain higher from prior months closing.
Crude oil prices continue rising which historically happens during months of summer.
