Billions handed over to Aig and Nortel is a hypocrisy. These giants are demanding all of this exorbitant amounts cash for what? I guess the bail out dollars will allow the corporate executives to continue living the North American Dream, while thousands of skilled workers that really made things come to fruition lose their jobs.
Now that employees, that actually made these companies successful have been terminated, who and what are the managers that still remain going to manage? A huge and perhaps unimpeachable mistake has occurred. The Fed, and bodies responsible for allocation of monies to cure this horrific financial crisis, are on the wrong track and should be held accountable. The Federal bail out cash should have been given to the working class people that made these corporations great in the first place. (read more)
